“Which one does my area need?” is almost every buyer’s first question — and the only one that can be answered fairly accurately before any survey. The base map is public, the logic is simple, and this article gives you both.
The base map: area → model
The official ranges from the pricing page:
| Comfortable coverage | Model | Machine package from |
|---|---|---|
| 10–65 m² | MistPro 100 | Rp 15.2M |
| 50–300 m² | MistPro 300–400 | Rp 18.9M |
| 200–600 m² | MistPro 600–700 | Rp 24.9M |
The ranges deliberately overlap, because area isn’t the only variable — and inside those overlaps, three factors decide.
The three factors that shift the choice within a range
1. How many separate zones. A single 60 m² terrace and “a 30 m² terrace + 15 m² pergola + 15 m² garden corner” are both 60 m² — but the second means longer lines and per-zone control. The same machine handles both; the line design differs. Homes almost always fit the smallest machine precisely because their zones are small.
2. Wind exposure. Open, windy areas “leak” mist out of the zone — they need denser nozzles or a windward line. Rooftops and beachfronts usually step up within the range; the rooftop logic is here.
3. Operating hours and density. A food court packed six hours a day fills its air with people-and-kitchen heat — the real load runs higher than a villa terrace with four chairs. Density shifts you up; light use shifts you down.

The quick calculation you can do right now
- Measure the area people actually occupy — not the whole property. The principle behind every installation of ours: cool zones, not volume.
- Find yourself in the table — in an overlap? Apply the three factors above.
- Rough out the cost: machine package from the table + per-site installation + daily running costs of Rp 2,000–5,000 in electricity.
With those three steps you know your budget range before talking to any vendor — including us.
What only a survey can answer
Honesty about this method’s limit: the area-to-model map gives you a range, not a specification. What sets the final number — and can’t be seen from photos:
- Mounting structure: is there a frame for the line, or does it need carriers? (pergola design vs open garden)
- Water source and quality — it dictates the filtration, and filtration is part of the quote.
- Pipe runs and power points — the pump-to-zone distances.
That’s why the survey comes before the final quote, not after — and why you should be wary of any vendor who names a final price from a single chat message.
The most common sizing mistakes
Buying for “the whole area” instead of the seating zones — paying for capacity to cool empty air. Undersizing a windy area — the system strains, the result feels thin. Forgetting the expansion plan — if a new pergola is on next year’s list, say so at the survey: provisioning zone capacity now costs less than replacing the machine later.
The short version
Area gives you the model, three factors shift the choice within the range, and the survey turns a range into a number. Run the quick calculation yourself — then send photos, the approximate area, and your city via WhatsApp; we confirm sizing within 48 hours, and will tell you honestly when the smallest package is all your area needs.
