GLOSSARY
BMS Integration (Building Management System)
BMS integration connects outdoor mist cooling systems to the building's central automation via Modbus RTU, BACnet/IP, or KNX protocols. Enables scheduling, occupancy-driven operation, humidity sensing, fault reporting, and energy-consumption logging alongside HVAC, lighting, and access control.
Also known as: BAS integration · Modbus controller · BACnet mist controller
Why hotels and commercial properties ask for BMS integration
Hotel groups, office towers, and hospital outpatient pavilions operate on building-wide automation. Any standalone sub-system — chillers, mist cooling, pool pumps — must surface its state on the BMS dashboard. The facility manager expects a single-pane view.
MistSystem BMS interfaces
Our pump controllers expose:
- Modbus RTU / TCP — read runtime hours, fault codes, current pressure, flow rate
- BACnet/IP — same points with BACnet object mapping for hospitality BMS (Siemens Desigo, Honeywell EBI, Schneider EcoStruxure)
- Dry-contact I/O — simple start/stop and fault signalling for legacy systems
- Humidity sensors — zone-level humidistat inputs pause misting when RH exceeds setpoint
Typical integration scope
For a 3-zone hotel pool-deck installation, BMS integration adds ≈ 8–15M IDR to the quote depending on protocol complexity, sensor count, and whether the BMS vendor is on-site for commissioning. Integration documentation is provided in Bahasa Indonesia and English for facility teams.
