High-Pressure Misting
High-pressure misting is a cooling technology using pumps at 70+ bar (1000+ PSI) to force water through sub-10-micron nozzle orifices, producing a dry fog that flash-evaporates before contact. Used for outdoor cooling, humidification, and industrial applications where surface dryness is critical.

Why pressure matters
Droplet size is inversely proportional to pump pressure. At 5–10 bar (typical hardware-store mister), droplets exit at 50–200 microns — large, slow-evaporating, and wetting. At 70+ bar, droplets exit at 5–10 microns, evaporating within milliseconds in ambient air. The temperature drop happens before any droplet reaches a human, furniture, or food.
Equipment specification
A professional high-pressure misting system consists of:
- Piston pump rated 70 bar continuous, IP55-weather-sealed
- 316L stainless steel distribution lines (marine-grade for corrosion resistance in humid/coastal environments)
- Ceramic or brass nozzles with anti-drip seats and orifice 0.15–0.3 mm
- Zone controllers for scheduled or humidistat-driven operation
- Optional BMS integration via Modbus/BACnet
Indonesian deployment
All MistSystem installations operate at 70 bar regardless of application — the pressure is the engineering standard. Hospitality, residential, greenhouse, and industrial humidification share the same core platform with scope-specific configuration.
