Mist Cooling
Mist cooling atomises water into ultra-fine droplets that evaporate in ambient air, cooling the surrounding environment through evaporation. In Indonesia, high-pressure mist cooling serves outdoor hospitality venues, private homes, greenhouses, and industrial humidification.

How mist cooling works
Mist cooling uses the thermodynamic principle of evaporative cooling: when water changes state from liquid to vapour, it absorbs approximately 680 Wh of heat per litre from the surrounding air. By atomising water into droplets so fine they evaporate almost instantly, mist cooling systems extract heat from an outdoor volume without wetting any surface.
Two distinct categories exist:
- Low-pressure misters (3–10 bar) produce droplets >50 microns. Guests, tables, and furniture get wet. Suitable only for industrial/agricultural wet-cooling.
- High-pressure mist cooling (70+ bar) produces droplets under 10 microns. Droplets flash-evaporate before contact with any surface — the air cools while everything stays dry. This is the hospitality/residential/commercial standard.
