Outdoor Cooling
Outdoor cooling reduces ambient temperature in open or semi-open spaces where conventional AC cannot operate efficiently. In tropical Indonesia, high-pressure mist cooling dominates because it removes heat from the air without needing an enclosed volume.

Why AC fails outdoors
Conventional air conditioning relies on cooling a contained volume and preventing heat exchange with outside air. In open outdoor areas (terrace, pool deck, rooftop), conditioned air disperses immediately — the AC unit runs at full load producing negligible comfort. Outdoor split units also drip condensate and corrode quickly in humid or salt air.
Why mist cooling works
High-pressure mist cooling removes heat from the air itself rather than cooling an enclosed volume. Water evaporates, absorbing 680 Wh per litre, dropping the air temperature in the treated zone. The effect is localised to where nozzles are positioned, not volume-dependent.
Tropical-climate applicability
Indonesia’s climate (28–34°C, 70–85% humidity) is the sweet spot for mist cooling. Despite high humidity, flash-evaporation still achieves 8–12°C ambient drops because droplets evaporate in milliseconds — the absolute humidity rise is minimal.
