The Venue

W Hotel Bali is a landmark property in Seminyak, known for its bold design, vibrant pool scene, and beachfront dining. The hotel’s outdoor areas, including the expansive pool deck and the adjacent restaurant terrace, are central to the guest experience and a major draw for both hotel guests and day visitors.

The Challenge

Seminyak’s coastal location brings consistent heat, especially between 11:00 and 15:00 when temperatures regularly exceed 34 degrees Celsius. The pool deck and restaurant terrace, while visually stunning, became uncomfortable during peak afternoon hours.

Guests would migrate indoors or leave the property entirely during the hottest part of the day. For a hotel whose brand identity is built around outdoor energy, poolside music, and al fresco dining, this was a direct hit on revenue and atmosphere.

The hotel needed large-area coverage that could handle the scale of the pool deck and terrace without cluttering the design-forward aesthetic that defines the W brand.

The Solution

The Result

The system delivers a temperature drop of up to 10 degrees Celsius across the treated areas, making a significant difference in guest comfort during the hottest hours.
