The Venue

Luna Beach Club is a popular beachfront venue in Bali, combining a restaurant, bar, pool, and event space in an open-air setting right on the sand. The venue hosts day-to-night experiences: daytime pool sessions, sunset cocktails, live DJs, and dinner service, all outdoors.

The Challenge

Operating on the beachfront means dealing with direct sun exposure, heat reflecting off the sand, salt air, and persistent humidity. Guests love the beachfront setting, but the heat during daytime hours was driving people to seek shade or leave the venue during the most profitable afternoon window.

There was a specific constraint that made this project more demanding than a typical terrace installation: guests at a beach club are often in swimwear, close to the pool, dancing, or seated at open tables. Any cooling system that left guests wet, created puddles on the dance floor, or deposited moisture on food and drinks would be unacceptable.

Additionally, the beachfront environment is harsh on equipment. Salt air corrodes standard metals quickly, and sand can clog poorly designed nozzle systems.

The Solution

MistSystem designed a high-pressure mist installation specifically engineered for beachfront conditions. The system addresses both the cooling challenge and the environmental durability requirements of a coastal venue.
